Meet Our Therapists

Rodrigo Gil Moreno de Mora, PT, DPT, MA

Doctor of Physical Therapy-President and Bilingual Therapist
 Rodrigo
I graduated with the charter class from Regis University in 1996 with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. I then went on to a second masters which focused on the psychological aspects of injuries. In 2005, I obtained a Doctorate in Physical Therapy that emphasized a manual therapy approach to the rehabilitation process.

As a former professional mountain-biker, I have experienced many injuries and thus integrate a scientific/therapeutic approach to the rehabilitation process. I also developed specific rehabilitation programs for cyclists of all experiences, that emphasizes biomechanical performance and neuromuscular balance. In 2006 I started the DPPT Racing Team that members of the community have joined to share their love of biking.

In July of 2002, after working for over 6 years with the "industrial athlete", helping injured workers to get back to work. I opened Diamond Peak Physical Therapy, P.C. to use my experience and knowledge to serve the needs of our community in both Spanish and English.

In 2007 I began taking Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) classes. I have taken the advanced needling courses and have seen amazing results using the needles alone and in conjunction with other manual techniques.

Tom Cleveland, PT, DPT, ACSM, H/FI(sm)

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Personal Trainer

Tom

I was introduced to physical therapy while attending High School.  My interest in Physical Therapy grew while I was working as a Personal Trainer during undergraduate at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.  I then attended Andrews University, in Michigan, graduating in the second Doctoral Physical  Therapy class in 2006.

My approach to rehabilitation is hands on and starts with a biomechanical analysis.  My goal is to serve my patients to the best of my abilities and get them to return to maximal function in a timely manner.

Misty Woodden, PTA, CKTP

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Pilates Instructor

Misty

I have been a Physical Therapist Assistant and an employee of Diamond Peak Physical Therapy since 2004.  I am a Colorado native and enjoy being outdoors.  I enjoy learning and am always taking classes, whether it is a Spanish class or continuing education courses.  Some of my favorite continuing education classes have been my certification as a Kinesiotaper, Muscle Energy Techniques,  manual therapy for the low back and my certification as a Pilates Instructor.

My Pilates training is through Polestar Pilates.  Taught by Physical Therapists, the Polestar Pilates method draws on the sciences of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and motor control; and integrates scientific research findings in the areas of orthopedics, sports medicine and movement sciences.  Pilates exercises improve core stability, flexibility and coordination.  It is a natural compliment to Physical Therapy as it focuses on precision and control of movements, as well as the importance of the breath.
